How organisations adopt Whole Brain® Thinking successfully

Organisations that successfully adopt Whole Brain Thinking go through four stages:

Stage 1—Foundation: building individual, group awareness and cohesion

Organisations introduce individuals and groups to Whole Brain® Thinking. Workshops are run to teach participants the Whole Brain Model™, their individual thinking preferences and the implications these have for the business.

Stage 2—Application: developing team effectiveness and addressing specific business issues

Organisations develop team effectiveness by applying Whole Brain® Thinking to teams, team function and addressing specific business issues—improving customer service, increasing sales and improving project management.

Stage 3—Adoption: adoption across all divisions and functions

The organisation encourages and supports individuals and teams to use their Whole Brain® Thinking skills in all aspects of business. This includes all decision making, in all planning sessions, as part of their risk assessment process and all other aspects of the business.

Stage 4—Transformation: thinking differently about the business world

Change or transformation occurs during and after Stage 3—when individuals and teams have generalised the skills, become ‘consciously competent’ in using them and naturally apply them to business, each and every day. The organisation now thinks differently about how it relates to and operates in the business world.
